Default BOV

I'm looking to run my '92 TT stealth with an atmospheric blow-off valve. I have a GReddy-RS BOV, and i was wondering if anyone knew the proper tuning of the BOV so I could blow off into the atmosphere without creating a vacuum problem.

You can blow to atmosphere just fine. Not sure on THAT BOV what you mean by "TUNING", but by blowing to atmosphere you will run a little more rich and increase the turbo lag a little, but it will sound cool as hell. I go back and forth on my car a little, changing from atmosphere to recirculated every now and then.

Well I had it set up blowing off in the atmosphere, and my ecu eventually tuned itself so it stopped stalling. But i spoke with a tech who had said my r/t would be able to be set softer or harder and it would be fine to blow off atmospherically. So i was just wondering if anyone knew off hand so I didnt have to spend a whole lot of time trying to get it right. I dont knwo if its worth the trouble

i thought if you just blew the atmosphere it would run too rich and cause bad side effects, but there was something to switch the sensor to somewhere after the throttle body or something, i dont remember, maybe i should just find the thread so you guys can see what i was talking about

[edit] https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_19104/tm.htm there i found it

he is right about the MAFT. It will DEFINITELY run perfect with that. I acnt vouch for your car, but mine ran pretty well blowing to atmosphere. Stalled every now and then but not often. Hope that helps and happy hunting.

It doesnt stall from being too lean, its stalls from being too rich.

Are you talking about vacuum or fuel?
