i have a 97 3000 that i bought with out bumpers , ...i have a set ( front and rear ) or after market bumpers that i found in town ( no shipping costs ) but they are for the style with pop up headlights , and my car isnt , the front bumper i know is different , ...id like to know if its moddifable to fit my car , i havent yet put the bumper up to my car to see if it fits , ....anyone know if its just around the headlights that different ??? or is it alot different ??? .....any help is greatful to me .... thanks ..

 

The area of the bumper where the side markers are is totally different. I do not think it will work unles you can geta scrap 2nd gen bumper and graft the side marker area to the 1st gen bumper.

 

cool , thanks ,, i was going to do some custom turn signals , but i decided to not buy the older style bumpers and just wait and get the right ones .

 

I think it's just the headlights that are different, the mounts I think are the same cause i've seen some people convert the front ends before.

 

if u get a good body shop they could do it,
