This is kinda a big step, you realize what you are taking on here?
The stock motor can take like 600awhp by the way, so if your goal is less than that, dont bother with the shortblock.
Also, you might want to consider a long block. Running all that power, your going to need a race head.

personally if you want a streetable daily driver your going to want to keep the engine you have and maybe rebuild it. i dont see how replacing the engine and swapping out for a single turbo could be that streetable especially if you have to worry about tuning it and all, which you probably will.

Im not getting a single turbo, i said i was just wondering about it.
Im lookin to get this engine http://www.ipsmotorsports.net/produc...oducts_id/1970
so i can beat the new 2009 corvette that weighs less than3,500 and has more than 620 hp.
im planning on getting some big fuel injectors and all the other modds, and turbos that will support up to 800-1000 awhp if possible. if its still a daily driver car like a corvette or viper.
Thanks alot

yea i read that sight tons of times for fun, i was looking at the dr 1000 turbos or the other ball bearing turbos that say they can go up to 1000 awhp or at least 800 awhp with other mods. apreciate it
(but i dont know if they can go up to 1000 awhp cus Matt monet hasnt done it yet, I think??) That dude nelson has a powerfull car but someone said its like 700-800 hp?

Im willing to bet that was a single turbo setup. The money it would cost to acomplish the fine tuning aspect of it will throw your build cost well over 50k.
The only possible way i can see anyone making that kind of power from a TT setup (and i have never seen that) would be an incredible tune. The tuning time will cost BIG. I would say 700+awhp on a TT setup just isnt going to happen. Your best bet is to go simple. Big single turbo and a strong setup. Still your looking at well over 15k.
