People forget that these were $35,000 - $40,000 cars when they were new (VR4's and RT/TT's) of course they're gonna be expensive to fix. It's a shame when some kid saves for years to buy a used 3S, finds one he can afford, then buys it without knowing the cost of upkeep. Next thing you know, something goes wrong and he can't afford to fix it. The car get parted out and the kid goes and buys something else.
On the plus side... if they keep parting out cars they can't afford to fix, the value of the left over running cars goes up.

Man, just do it yourself. If you drive an older car that you love, you're going to have to work on it sometime. Might as well save your money and dive in yourself.

Save up money for some tools :-D Before when I drove a Honda Accord my garage has a set of screw drivers and that's it. After I own a VR4, my garage became a shop. Learn to do it yourself and you'll like it and save money as well. If I can do it, anybody else can.

Wheels, a drop and a tint job is all that appears to be different on the surface.

I dont even know if I like the wheels all that much... I mean, not that theyre bad... but the drop REALLY makes a difference on that car!
