Kind of self explanatory. 96 3000GT SL, CEL came on. Got it scanned, came up PO400, "Excess Gas Recirculation Flow." I did a search on here for it, so I have a few ideas of what to try, but that was the Eclipse. Was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions as to what to do, 3kGT-wise.

 

Replace the EGR valve?

 

The EGR Solenoid valve? I installed a new one just a couple months ago.

 

Sounds like it wasnt installed correctly and is now having an issue... I wouldnt really know... I just know when it throws that code, that it usually means the EGR valve is bad.

 

Aw, fan-freakin'-tastic. Thanks for the info, I'll give it a look-see right now.

 

Maybe reset the ECU and see if it comes on again.

 

All right. I'll try that when I have some spair time. (have to go to the local autostore and rent out their scanner)
