Default clutch or trans issues
oki shaftedto gear during driving it would shaft on its own back to neutral it stared from 5th gear then down on and sometime it would be stuck on gear so i had to force it out for changing gear when this happened i open the hood smoke was coming out after the car was dead what could if be?

sounds like a synchro/fork is bad in the tranny... dont kno about the smoke tho
