Default ECM/ECU

the ECM is behind the radio right?? i think it's not telling my coils to spark the plugs. i'm getting no spark in the plugs.compression's fine and the timing is good. so i'm thinking new coil's or ECM (that's the same as the ECU right)??

Yes, it is behind the radio. You have to take off the two carpet pieces on the sides of the console to get to the mounting bolts.
What year and model is your car?
Did this just happen all of a sudden?
It could also be the PTU. It's the unit under the coil packs.

If its burned out you will be able to smell it. And if you cant smell it then open it up and look. Usually you can tell just by looking at the inside of it

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see what visible damage may look like.

Look for any blackening or discoloration around the capacitors.

For steps on checking the PTU.
