ok just wondering what the stock exhasut size was for a 96 3000gt sl

u sure i've read a few differnet things and every time i think i get close something changes my mind, just wondering what size it is from the downpipe back because i plan on making a cutom exahust from there with a high flow cat. Also how many of have heard a 3000gt with a flowmaster muffler, does it dound good? Do you think i will need a resinator between the high flow cat and the muffler to make it sound less ricey?

 

I guess i'll add this to since no one has answered yet, what sensers does a 96 sl have on the exhasut after the downpipe

no flowmaster! trust me. I got custom 2 1/2 piping catback and a magnaflow muffler on 95 SL . its sounds like pure muscle. Its nowhere near rice. i also removed all resonators. it gives this car the perfect sound. I get compliments all the time.

 

yeah dont get flowmaster.... unless you like a nice badass purr that can unleash a roar... but if you wanna get crap sound listen to this guy. i've got flow and it is sick! its got a nice bark with plenty of gain.
