Gauge Faces...new
Has anyone converted thier guage faces over to the lighted version...if so, could you give me an idea of how long its going to take, was it a pain to do and in the end, did you like the way it looked? Thanks to anyone that can help me.
Xenoid I don't really think it takes alot of tools,a screwdriver to take out the instrument cluster..metric tools(sockets) probably to undo mounting brackets..what I'll do for you if you want ..I have the factory manuals for the car...and if I can download the pages you need for removing the instrument cluster and the 3 small guages and there-installing proceedure...hopefully I can post them on this question if the Mods dont have a problem with it....or send them to you in an email..the installation guide that came with the new faces is pretty slim...thats why I was hoping someone else had done it and could offer some advice..but from what I see about thegauges patience is going to be a big player, the instructions are real firm about needle settings and using a light touch...I'm in the process of moving right now,so it might take a little time to get these to you..hope this helps you to make a decision...HC
