RE: gt specs?
most websites say that it runs an 8.5 0-60 and a 16.4 1/4 mile. but it's not at all accurate! i ran a 7.5 0-60 in my 1993 automatic and they can easily run low to mid 15's in the 1/4 mile. you shouldve tried to find a 1st generation vr4. that runs 5sec 0-60 and low 13's!

RE: gt specs?
if its a sohc it only has 160 hp and its crap....
dohc has 222hp....the manual's are quicker then the autos.
the vr-4 is the best versian of the 3000gt...its the same dohc 6g72 with twin turbos.

RE: gt specs?
Come on guys! Read the reviews and specs. They are still found on-line. The weakest engine is the base model which came out in 97 or 98 at 165HP + or -. All SL's had 222HP, and the early VR-4's had 300HP compared to 320HP in the 2nd generation up. All HP ratings are "at the wheels". Even the base model isn't bad because it is lighter than the VR-4. And, with a little extras like cold air intake and test pipe, you can boost the HP to about 195.
