hey guy i live in ireland and drive a gto vr4 was talkin to a guy a few weeks ago and he said there was a pin in the boost timer and if i pulled it out thye car would have a higher boost is this true and any accurate info would be great as the guy was a bit scetchy on details.

 

there is a little plug in your turbo wastegate solenoid that can be removed and essentially it makes a first gen equal in power and boost psi to a second gen. Here's a good write-up on it.
