Help! Power/Economy Button Stuck
Ok, I have a 1994 3000gt base model automatic transmission. The DOHC not the SOHC. (I'm not sure if that matters here though)
The problem is my power/economy button. Maybe about 4 months after I had gotten this car, I saw this switch and tried putting it on power. I pressed it in and it worked. Power light came on my dashboard and it was fine. I decided I did not need it on at the moment so I switched it back to economy. About 15 minutes later I decided to put it on power again, but the switch wouldn't budge. The click that it makes when it would press in doesn't happen and is now permenantly stuck on economy.
I don't want to keep trying to press it into power because I might break the plastic.
I tried taking some of the surrounding plastic covering off and it appears to be covered by a box.
Does anyone know how I need to go about getting to where the button mechanism works? I think it simply is unaligned.
I am not really good with cars and I don't want to damage my gear changing. (going from park to drive etc.)
If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
