Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

Default light out

hey yall one of my runnin lights just went out the prob is that i dont have the manual. so i dont know how to replace the bulb i looked and there is no light plug there, so where is it?

If its a 3000gt(which I assume it is) ,pull straight out on the outer lens,there will be 2 screws holding the inner lens in,remove these two screws,and youll have access to the bulb,itll be I think a 55w lamp.if one has gone south,the other is likely soon to follow,Autozone has them for about 4 bucks apiece.....

i tryed to get the back lens off to get to the light but it seems stuck. is there a special way to take it off?

If memory serves,once you unscrew the long screws,you should be able to just pull straight out,there will be two wires,one ground,and the other will be the hot feeding the socket,might have to wiggle it around a bit.mine were out of the car when I got it,and in the trunk along with alot of the other stuff the previous idiot took off....[sm=dontgetit.gif]
