Long headers
I am also developing long versions, these will be from the heads to the main cat. They will include a DP system and the runners will be as close as possible but keeping the expense into consideration as well. They will not be exact length….figure about 1-3” diff maximum. (even with the SDS we won't lose or gain much HP with equal length..it just isn't warranted. The runners will not have seems. All flanges will be cnc cut and assembled in 3 pieces…..front header…rear header and then DP with flex section…also o2 bungs can be added to monitor things like EGT and such but certainly the OEM location will be installed before the main cat. Cali models…well you gents are going to have to cross a line I won’t even deal with…I can't even imagine cats with headers…my suggestion is you make your car track use only, or call Edelbrock and get your GB started ....sorry won't go there with the EPA
Price for the long set will be 475.00+shipping investor price and I will accept 10 people at this price….then the price will jump to 650.00+shipping.This should spark interest and get this rolling. They must be pre-paid before production starts…I will move forward as I can with payments as they trickle in and stragglers will be dropped in order to make room for paying slots to keep this moving forward….Don’t put your name down unless your in for sure. I can’t see waiting until ALL have invested…tubes can be ordered…collectors can be formed so on and so forth. But the only way to seal the investor price and your spot, is to pay up front.
I copied this from the 3si forums to see if anyone over here is interested in hopping on this great deal. This setup will eliminate the downpipe and will help the powerrange of the NA by alot. Estimated horsepower is conservatively 15 hp but some think as much as 25 to 30 can be seen from these headers.
