Thanks for the welcome. I have an urgent need regarding the auto transmission in ny 2001 Galant V6. Yesterday while driving the transmission quite as if it were puched into neutral. I got off to the side of the bridge I was on and tried all the other gears. Once placed in gear it acts as if it were in neutral. The only selection that acted as expected was park and neutral. Any ideas on what the cause could be? Solutions? Any help or direction would be great. I checked the Haynes I have for the car and that thing isn't worth the paper it is printed on.
