Ihave a 92 VR4Just my luck now my car is knocking. It sounds like it is coming from the top end. If I change the top end you think it will solve the problem?

Any comment would help alot. Thanx

Sebba Im not really good with computers. Its sounds more like a tick. and when the engine accelerates then the ticking gets faster. I had the timing belt replace 6 or 7 months ago. not sure if it is rod knock.

LMAO rob that made me lol

the ticking could be lifter tap or if it is really that bad maybe sticky valve or worst case senario, you might be smacking your valves on your pistons

more than likely lifter tick though
