The trim should be stated on the rear of the car.

If it is a DOHC engine, it is an SL.
If it has a SOHC engine it is a base.
You need a fuel pump to match the engine, your local autoparts store should be able to find what you need no problem.

Ok, but the trim only shows 3000GT, the engine under the hood is a 24 DOHC and it has 2 exhuast pipe in the back if that helps any. I also thought it was 3 different models of the 3000GT. Is the SL and VR the same model?

ok what year is it. bc if the car is a dohc then it is either a sl or a base. most likely a base if it doesn't say sl on the back. the eirlier ones said either sl or had no logo but still had the same engine.

If you know what engine you have you should have no problem getting your new fuel pump. That is what you need right...a new fuel pump...the pump doesn't care what badge is on the back...it cares about what engine it will be pumping fuel too.

Yeah I need a new fuel pump but I need to know which model I have in order for me to get the right fuel pump. Its 2 different fuel pumps and I dontwantto buy the wrong one or put the wrong one in. I havea placeselling me the fuel pump for like $80 and if I buy the wrong one I have to pay a restocking fee and everything and I want to avoid all that and just get it right the 1st time.

The pump for the TT is different than that of the other models, base and SL.
