I have a 1994 GT with good rebuilt engine.


Any time I add power steering fluid it all leaks out.
[/align]Does this mean i need to get a new power steering pump? (or belt or something?)[/align][/align]
There use to be this noise that sounded like long bird chirps and a belt being eaten whenI drive but it goes away every now and then. (its not the noise from turning the wheel)

Where is the leak coming from?

It could simply be the lines on your rack & pinion are old and rusted. Somewhat common problem.
