Default Pricing help

I went "Window shopping" for my first car today with my dad. At a used dealership i found a 95, 3000gt with 128k miles on it and had several scratches/small dents/alot of paint ware. Unfortunatly the dealership was closed at the time and i wont be able to call in for the price until monday. Since im on a strict budgetbeing my first car, i thought i'd hit the forums to get a rough idea. Also,i check the blue book site and it only had asuggested price for a 95 3000gt in excelent condition which was around 7k.Am i wasting my time asking for a price? Any ideas on a price? Any help is appretiated.
