Default problem with active areo

sooo last june my old vr4 engine blew then i replaced it over the summer. Before the engine went the active areo worked fine and after i put in the new engine it was all right also then the lite came on in the car for it and it wontt work anymore..... any ideas on what the problem could possibly be?

Check to see if the front air dam drops when it is on. You only have to insert the key into the ignition, then press the active aero button. If it does, then it is probably the plastic link that pushes the spoiler up. It could be the motor itself, but that is less likely. If the front air dam does not drop, there is something wrong with your sensor or sending unit.
