My rear activer aero and front aero are not working. Before I bought the car the guy had the switch for it and said it takes about 20 min to install if i have the tools for it. When I switch it to sport you can hear the exsaust change louder and all, it runs fine but he says it causes it not perform right.If I were to fix it it will perform better. Was woundering if any one knew how to instal it or had a print out of how to install it. But other than that the active aero works every once in a while , was woundering if any one can help me out thanks.

 

Are you talkn about the switch by the shifter that has the cigarete lighter? Where you can switch the active aero from auto or manual?

 

Thats it but looking forthe wires under it or where will they be located at for me to fix it. The switch is there but my active aero works every once in a while and when it messes up it comes on red on my dash letting me know its messed up. I called the dealer shiphe said for me to take it in so they can run a dyno on her but it canbe pricy. I asked for thewires for the aero it was like 126$ and 100$ in labor.And another thing is when I switch it to sport on the high way it runs a little rough, the man told me there is some wires near the strut bar that will need to be replaced but that is pricy as well and he will need to check it out. A little confusing I know but other than that that is all.

 

And that why I hate active aero its a pain in the *** lol. Well your also not even 100% sure that its the wires, it could be the active aero computer unit its self, or maybe even the actual motor in the spoiler. Im going to find the page in the service manual where you can find out if its the active aero unit thats damaged. I send it over when I find it
