Default 1993 Mitsubishi 3000gt Active Aero conversion

I was looking to buy someones 1993 mitsubishi 3000GT SL. He told me that the VR4's are the only ones with active aero controls and I was wondering if the active aero conversion on a 1993 3000gt SL is possible and how difficult is it? I thought that the Active Aero conversion was avalible on all 3000gt's but I could be wrong, don't know much just got into 3000gt's a couple of months ago. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

it's not worth the headache and work. It was only available on the VR-4 from 91-96

Had it on my car. It was a ton of fun to wave my spoiler at devastated opponents and hot chicas at stop lights. Then my front motor went bad and the cost of replacing it was ridiculous. It's just not worth it in my opinion, I'm considering removing most of my active aero system just to get rid of the weight.
