You want a picture of the whole control unit.

I have a spare unit in the garage, I'll try to remember to get a picture of it for you after my nephews track meet.
There is also another control unit under that one that controls something, I'm not sure exactly what it does. There are also a couple of sensors in the cabin area.

Im trying to modify one (and its components, I suppose) to work with the 3g eclipse... thought it would prove sort of interesting. Where is its "brain" contained? Onboard? I hope its not on the ECU or something... I dont feel like finding a way to create a standalone component for it.
Thnx in advance for the pics, BTW

I'm not 100% sure how it all works. It is the "brain" so to speak, as there is a PCB in the unit. The other unit I believe contains the relays for the fan motor and vent control. I've never really looked at the schematics to see what all is involved in the auto climate control system.

Tru, I doubt that would even be close to the hardest part... but it should be interesting to work out... I wonder if it would be worth making into a kit. Would its dimensions allow it to fit comfortably into the stock HVAC area in a 3G?

Don't know if it would fit or not, I've never been in a 3g Eclipse.
