Default Rwd conversion

I have a 96 3kgt and i was wondering if there is any way to make it rear wheel drive. now i have th sl model fwd and i dont really like the front wheel and was just wondering if there was a possiblity id either go all wheel or rear wheel and id like rear wheel. just seems easier to drive for me not to sure on a 3000 tho. Plus itd be unquie. if anyone knows anything let me know

No Dusty, they were FWD and AWD. Transverse mounted engine FTL.

Yes Sebba, there was a guy that welded the VCU (I think that is what he welded) and removed the front axles to make his 3kgt RWD...an exercise in futility in my opinion.

There are 2 RWD Stealths that I know of, although I'm sure there are more. One was an ES, he fabbed up a live axle and a 440 from some old Chrysler. The other was a VR-4 (changed the front to look like a Stealth), tube frame front end. He used the stock VR4 rear end.

That is a hot looking 3kGT... I think Ive said that b4... lol... Its RWD? Pimpn. I saw one like that once... only the dong who owned it slapped the Viper logos all over it. As if...

Find a local speed shop that does tube frame front ends, they will be able to weld one up for you. They would also be able to weld in some kind of rear end...4-link or something like that.

sell your car and buy one thats already a rear drive sportscar. It will save you at least 20,000 dollars and a year of headaches.
