I need help with car smoking, need valve stem seals replaced.
Car has over 100k miles, can anyone do it manually with compressor taking off valve cover? A head rebuild will be very expensive and not worth it, anybody know where a mechanic can dissassemble head? I am located in nyc.

 

I know everyone has something bad to say about ebay, but there is an ebay store which sells rebuilt heads for the 6g72 for a total of $295. Im considering this for my 96 GT. Much cheaper than having the head removed, resurfaced and the stem seals done. This is an entirely rebuilt head, already shaved, new valves, seals etc.
