So what kind of 3S?

Default So what kind of 3S?

Just wondering what kind of 3S's are here. I have a 93 VR4. Doing some light mods for now as my wife and I are having our first baby. I've had it for a few years now. I've installed an HKS super sequential bov, I've done the vacuum reduction, TurboXS mbc, K&N open filter, Megan downpipe, 3 inch IPS single shot catback, KYB struts with Intrax springs.

I have but not installed yet, SAFCII, Blitz turbo timer, walboro 255, DSM SMIC's, tubular headers, DSM injectors.

What do you guys have?

I have a 93 pearlwhite vr4. Apex'i BOV, 3sx downpipe, Borla cat-back, 3sx high flow cat, blitz dsbc-i boost controller, blitz turbo timer, k&N. Right now, my car is at Ground Zero performance getting 550 cc injectors, a walbro 255lph fuel pump, CX-racing front mount intercooler, LMI 16t-sr turbos, Apex'i Afc neo, Stage 2 clutch, lightened flywheel, shocks and springs for 1.75" lower, and a dyno tune to finish it off. Gonna be SICK!!!

I've noticed a lot of people going with the LMI turbos. Have any pics of your car?

All I have right now is a couple older ones on my profile. Yeah, we've been havin a little difficulty gettin the turbos in, so I'm not sure if those are what I'm going to end up with or not. I have heard good things though, and the price is phenomenal. I'll post some pics when I get them.

I've been thinking of checking out LMI too. Just have to rebuild my engine to handle the extra power

Well, I've had a souring experience so far, due to their delay in sending the turbos to me. But we'll see if my mood changes at 18psi! Haha. I had my engine rebuilt to stock, and I'm just upgrading my fuel stuff to handle the higher boost. What are you looking to do to yours?

I'm going full forged bottom end. I want to run E85 in hopes of pushing 600-700hp.

Sweet! That's quite a goal! Sounds like you've got your path planned out though. I'd like to eventually bore the crap out of mine (or another block maybe) and convert to single turbo, but that is just a pipe dream for now. I don't make enough money to go at that project yet! Haha.
I've seen some really nice VR-4's lately that were runnin E85, and I can tell it takes a lot of work to get everything running correctly. It's so sick when it does, though.

Most guys in my town running any kind if tuned car are running E85. There's really not that much to making run well if you get a tuner that's done tuned with it before. It makes crazy power. Its cold, high octane and cheap. But if you want to run it in the winter you have to retune or risk blowing your engine. The E85 blend changes to E70 for better winter startup for flex fuel cars.
