Default Studdering/Jerking?

Hey guys, i have a 92 3000 and from time to time (normally on rainy days) when i am driving around.. i have a studdering problem. Like for instance if i am in third trying to maintain a constant speed of 40mph no more, no less, the car will jerk idk how better to explain this.. it's always if i am only trying to keep an idle speed, when i accelerate the problem goes away. Someone told me it could be fuel injectors or spark plugs..? But i'd rather take advice from you guys ha. Thanks.

Have you checked your motor mounts? Bad motor mounts, at lower rpm's will cause the car/engine to shake back and forth, and will go away upon acceleration.

plugs/injectors would cause more problems under acceleration than cruising at speed.

Have not checked motor mounts, good call, will have them checked. Seeing as i am NOT a mechanic and don't know much about cars i wouldn't know where to begin.

A lean fuel mixture can cause this. Check to make sure your intake pipe is not leaking anywhere and that all the connections are tight. Check the air filter as well. Bad plugs, wires, or injectors normally don't improve whwen you accelerate. Bad motor mounts don't normally cause the jerking your are describing, but will make it more noticebale.

thank you for the input, am on break from work right now but will check the intake fittings when i get the time here soon. i am fairly sure there is no leak but tightening things up can't hurt i suppose. also i run 93 octane with up to 10% ethanol (manual says this is ok) just out of curiosity that wouldn't be part of the problem would it.?
