I have a problem, when i start the car the motor sounds great, but once i put it into gear and start to take off the car starts to studer. It will do this through 1-4 but once i hit 5 gear the car acts normal. to explain how it feels is lilke, you are not giving it enough gas when you are letting out on the clutch, i have changed the plugs/plug wires, changed fuel filter. just need some help?

 

check the ecu. buddys vr4 was doing that and then one day it didnt crank at all. had no fuel and spark and the computer didnt have the fuel map and timing map.

What kind of car is it? TT or NA?

Check for a boost leak.

What kind of plugs did you use? What was the gap?

 

speaking of the boost I notices oil on the top of the back trubo, (the one behind the intake pleum), the plugs were ngk and ngk plug wires

 

How much oil?

Is it smoking?

Wanna get dirty? Check for shaft play.

 

not a lot of oil, no smoking, but when i took the intake pleum off i noticed that the intercooler pipe that runs in the bolt that holds it to the turbo was gone.. Igoing to go this week to get a new one as soon as work slows down.. do you think that could be one of the problems..?thanks agin for all your help and input...if i have to get dirty I do...
