oh...another thing. I have been trying to find the specs on how many base model 3kgt's they made in '99. If anyone knows a site that reveals the info, or knows this from somewhere, I would really like to know.

I got a question... I know that the water jackets wouldn't line up if you switched from sohc to dohc, but could you possibly bore them out or SOMEHOW make them work? This is something that I would be extremely interested in.

Jeff Luscious, the creater of Stealth316 is awesome. I am just glad I stumbled upon his site when I was researching for my car 5 years ago.
I have never heard of anyone doing it. I just don't see how it would be cost effective when a brand new shortblock can be purchased from Mitsu for around 2k, give or take..??
