It is not a 6g72 engine. I think it is a 6g74 or 75, but I'm not 100% sure because Nelson has changed the set up on that car several times in the last year. The engine comes from a Pajero I believe.

Here is the initial start up of the car with it's latest setup.

btw: The car never dynoed a 1000hp. It has all the potential to do so, but the time they put it on the dyno, they couldn't keep in place, it tried to climb off the rollers at around 850hp.

Anyone know if it is good or bad to think about wanting to get a 3.5 V6 6g74( a
pajero engine installed in a upgraded turbomoddedd etc.VR4). or would It be better to stick with a 3.0 liter forged piston etc.race preparedengine from Ipsmotorsports.

I was thinking it be real hard to install the pajeroengine with everything elseand the 3.5 pajero has 217hp with fuel injection.

Will A3.0 liter VR4 engine that is bored out require alot of things elselike more thana water or meth. injection and other modds specificaly for madeforengines that are bored larger .

thanks

well what kind of power are you looking to put down. what kind of car are you building. id say that the easiest way would be same engine since any engine swap is never a walk in the park. but you can get some decent power out of the stock engine.

The 3.5L has more torque, and will build boost in faster with bigger turbos, in comparision to the 3.0L. It's a great swap if you have the block, the parts, and the know-how. It's not entirely too complicated, and there are step by step instructions floating around how to do the entire conversion. You will not need to run anything other than gas to power the car.

And just an fyi, the 3.6L Nelson is running, is a lightly bored out 3.5L block.
