tonight i was on the highway doing alot of accelerating to test out my new pirellis. all of a sudden a green lights came on saying "ACS ON" does anyone know what this means. me and my friend were guessing that it means "acceleration control system". does anyone know what it is or wut it does.

 

Well I know I push that button when im about to put my cruis control on but im not sure now im curious haha maybe you pushed it accidently

 

Are u certain it wasnt TCS? like you said, you were doing a lot of accelerating... it may have been the Traction Control System... where was this light located? Which trim do u have? SL, VR4?

 

i have a base model. the light came on in the lower middle part of the console. it wasnt traction control and i tried looking it up but cant find anything. it looked like this
[ul][*]ACS[*]O N[/ul]
with the o and n sorta spaced.

 

But still in the instrument cluster, right? Like between your tach and speedo?

 

Well... the only thing I found thats remotely like that... is this:

Thats from some 3kGT site... I dont know why this would show up then... or at all... so I have no real idea why I am even posting this. Who the hell knows...

 

ACS ON is your cruise control.

 

yea it is cruise control. i just tried it. it does stand for accessory control system and then cruise comes up under it

HAHA I KNEW IT CRUISE CONTROL WELL YOU PROBABLY PUSHED IT WHEN YOU WERE SHIFTING OR SOMEHTING
