Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

omg i don't know what happend but i have a bad feeling about it well i was driving my 3kgt yesterday and i decided to go a bit faster but then the car wouldn't over 80ish mph and the rpms where still at 6000rpms and then a notice the stereo light got dimmer and dimmer so i turn it off then i notice this awful knocking noise coming from the engine from the passenger side i have a auto tranny and on the manual ir said that if you have the car on 2 you shouldn't go over 81 mph or it will damage the engine but i don't remember if i had it on 2 or D i donn't think i had it on 2 but thats the only think that makes sense on how the engine got F UP i think i mess up a cylinder or something man thats gonna cost money that i don't have and on top off it the car turn of 2 houses before i got to mine it did that before but nothing major but it still turn on now but the knocking noise damn it awful please help

you could have spun a rod bearing is it a loud ticking noise??

yeah its pretty loud i also heard a similar situation with someone else here in the forum and he had a lock torque converter but he did't mentioned anything about a noise so i don't know
