Because the motor oil gauge goes up really high when the car is in gear and after a while the engine overheats. but the weird thing is when the car is at a low RPM the motor oil pressure stabalizes, that only when the car is under like 1,000 RPM.

oil pressure naturally fluctuates with engine RPM and temperature. it will be very low at idle when its warm (as low as 10-12 psi), but very high when revved and cold (as much as 100 psi).
it also will have nothing to do with the car overheating.

I know what happens, and i know something is wronge with it. i dont mean to get into you face or anything. OK go to http://www.nrauto.com/gaugeimages/3564-EL_t.jpg and look at the center gauge (oil). notice that there are four marks on it. one is black, one is red, and there is one on the lower side and one on the upper side. When my car goes over 2,500 RPM the pressure goes up to the line right under the red line. And when this happens, and i drive for maybe 3-5 minutes, the water temp. goes up and the engine overheats. I hope this helps. The car is fine when i am not in gear or not revving it, the oil temp. stays in the middle, but even the slightest amount of revving brings it up to that point. I couldn't get it. maybe there is something i am missing.

are those the actual gauges you're using? meaning has someone changed from the factory gauges?
