is this worth it?
Personally, I would keep looking. The mileage is obviously very low, but it is a pretty high price for a 94. There is a 93 with 80K miles for $9800 I found on your search. VR4- black, check it out
So, you have almost $10K to ensure you that the extra 50K miles aren't an issue.
There's only so much I'll pay for low miles, and that far exceeds it.

there is NO WAY that car wont sell for more than $13k...a LOT more. Its a LOT of car and the right year with almost NO miles. If its as clean as the mileage would suggest I would say make an offer at $16,500 and get yoruself a SWEET LOW MILE CLEAN 2gen VR4.

97 vr4 with 106,xxx for 13,500?

the KBB is a GUIDE. Thats all. A GUIDE. If the market demands are high for a car, they are more money than the little booklet says. Its just very basic. The Supra has a KBB in EXCELLENT private party at $20K with 85k on it, but that car is WELL over that number if its clean enough with good miles. I know the Supra is a FAR FETCHED example on that chain, but the VR4 is CLOSE in that regards. A CLEAN low mile VR4 is worth ALL THE MONEY to the right buyer and thats all that matters. Hell there was a guy out there (I think its still for sale too) with a 1996 Stealth RT TT AWD with 64k miles in PERFECT showroom condition. He wants $20K for his car. The KBB is like $13k or something rediculous. There are only 57 96 Stealth TT's even produced...he has a PERFECT one...I would buy it in a HEARTBEAT if I was wealthy. It would require wealth because I wouldnt ever drive it...just park it and save it for later. But all I am saying is, its just a guide used to help people out a little. But its not the BIBLE of auto shopping.
