1992 Diamante 99k just bought from donation center bangs into gear real hard.
In limp mode stuck in third.
Pulled codes. 13 and had a 23 ignition pulse pickup cable.
This car has a japanese factory filter which tells me that it is probably a JDM
engine that was recently installed. Then the computer went out and they donated it. I bought it and am in the process of sorting out its issues.and have the following codes 13 and 23
My Dodge stealth manual says tps out of adj and ignition pulse pickup cable open circuited.
The TPS is all the way to one side so that makes sense. What is the story on the 23 code? will that lock me in third gear?
Also the gear shifter is real loose at the bottom .It looks like a bushing is worn out or gone at the bottom of the shifter.
Is his common? I don't think it is related to the shifting problem.

Anyone parting one out?
