Does anyone know how to remove the cd player from an 04 Mitsubishi Diamante LS? I am asking before i start trying to pry off the trim surrounding the cd player.

 

I believe it is the same as the Australian Magna of the same age.

If so start by pushing both seats forward and undoing the 2 screws (1 each side) from the very back of the centre console.

Then lift up the ash tray and undo the 2 screws in under where it was.

From memory the console will then lift out exposing 2 more screws holding down the escutcheon round the stereo.

Its a while since I have done this but I think thats all.
