For some reason my climate control does not work. Actually what happens is if I change the settings to blow from floor to front vents or defrost the air flow does not change. It is always stuck in the front position. On cold days I have to close all the front vents to allow for enough air flow to be forced to the defrost position. It`s a pain. Any ideas what could be going on here. By the way the display shows the air flow changing but it is stuck. 2000 diamante ls.

the linkage from the mode door has probably broken or fallen off.
