I need to replace my ecu on a 2000 diamante LS all weather package. I just need to know what ecu computers are compatable with that year. Also what is the difference between the mr and the md start to the pt number? Mine says md5#### while the 2001-2004 diamante starts with an mr5#### the exterior of the box looks identical. the 97-99 diamante ecu starts with md and is all metal mine is a black plastic box with ridges.
