Pinion Valve Oil Seals

1 Attachment(s)
I'm rebuilding a leaky pinion valve body from the rack and pinion steering on my 2002 Diamante LS, 3.5 V6.
I have the upper seal and upper bearing replaced. The valve body has been removed from the pinion housing. I have the four oil seals and lower seal to replace but don't know how to remove them from the valve body. I hear that you have to cut the four oil seals off or use a dental pick to lift them from the grooves. The issue is getting then new ones back on, as the material does not look like it stretches.

Picture of valve body attached.

drill into old oil seals, screw in oversize csk screws, pull out with vice grips.
Lube new seals with clean oil or assembly grease. They dont stretch much, thats how they seal. If you have to, heat them in hot water or oil (or the oven, if wife isnt home)

Thanks for the information, how do I address the lower oil seal near the bottom bearing, it looks like the bottom bearing needs to be removed to replace the lower seal. The lower bearing is held on by a crimped collar that can only be removed by cutting it off.

see attached picture of bottom side of pinion valve.
