Default 04 Endeavor Back Driver Side Window Issue - Please Help

Hi Everyone

So I really need some help with my moms car. Its pretty cold, as you all know, and the other day her back drivers side window just opened by itself, and wont go up. We tried the switch for the window in question, we made sure the other switches were working (and they are), and we even tried forcing the glass up by hand. It will not go up! It is stuck tight! Can you please help us to figure out what the issue is, how it can be repaired, what we need to do, etc. Any and all help would be appreciated!!

Default Endeavor passenger Window

Hi,
Most likely culprit will be the window regulator.
Google that and if you are comfortable
Removing door panel (not difficult)
You will see a broken cable or plastic part.
Detailed ibstructions are available.
Hope this helps.

I also had this issue.
It ended up being one of the ground wires. It was broken in the hinge area of the drivers door. using a wiring diagram and figuring out how the motor worked (down was ok, Up Broken) Touched the wire that should be ground (note there are two grounds only One at a time is used depending on if your making the window go up or down) once if figured out how it worked I shorted the Ground to Chassis and the window went up so I knew the Regulator etc was OK. I traced the wire through the frame under the front passenger door throught the dash board to the driver door. about every two foot sticking a pin with a wire shorted to chassis. each time the window bumped up so I knew the wire from that point to the window was ok. then found the break. The coating on the wire was OK it was broke from prolonged using the driver door.
I replaced a section of the wire (about 2 ft) from the Driver kick panel to inside the door. It did take at least 3 hours to follow the Green wire with Yellow stipe from the RR door to the Driver widows switch to find the break.

My drivers side rear window just went down and wouldn't go back up, after taking off door panel I saw that it was a broken cable. Lifted window by hand and clamped in place and reassembled the door panel. Don't roll the windows down much anyway.

Is there a drawing or video on how to remove the driver's side door panel in the back seat to work on the window regulator?

Old post, I realize. But thought I'd chime in. I have had to replace the regulators in both of my 2007's rear doors.
