About a month ago, my Brake warning light came on when I started it up on a really cold morning (10 F). It did not go off after pushing the parking brake in and releasing it. I drove it about 2 miles and the Anti Skid light then came on. The manual says this happens when the brakes get too hot, however the brakes were not on and were not warm. After I turned off the car, and turned it back on the light went off and had stayed off for the last 3 weeks.

I just got in the car today and the brake warning light stays on again after the intitial startup light sequence? Any clues. At 70k and will be taking it to the dealer but wondered if anyone had some insights.

 

the fluid level in the master cylinder resivoir is probably low. this happens when the brake pads get low and all the fluid is in the caliper. have your brakes checked when u bring it in.
