2008 transmission

Default 2008 transmission

I was just told they arent making transmissions for year 2008 anymore.What does that mean for myself and others if our transmission goes? CAN another vehicles fit?I love my car...i think some kind of compensation should be given....what do you think?

Well, it sounds nice but, a private company can do as they wish; after warranty is fulfilled.
There are rebuilt,re-manufactured and salvage yards available....

Does that include cat converter?My 2008 cat is shot ,I was told it has 3,that you cant get a used one.I was wondering if I bought a 2004 car ,will the cat fit the same on my 2008?Obviously doing it under radar.Not a dealer .400.hella cheaper than 2800.

Is your car tuned and running properly? Cats just don't go bad, something is/has caused a problem..
I have a Volvo w/ 300 K, original catalyst.
