Default 255/60/R17 on stock rims?

Does anyone have experience with changing the width of the stock tire from 235 to 255 with regards to rubbing? The overall diameter is virtually identical.

I currently have 245/65/R17 front and back and they have made a world of difference from a handling perspective, it feels much more stable. I would like to see if I can improve it anymore.

I take it your 245/65R17s worked out ok? no rubbing etc? I hope so because I'm getting a set put on Saturday.

I just got mine on today. I'm shocked they don't rub. There is NO freaking room at all between the tire and the front strut. I freaked out when I saw them on but so far no rubbing.

So just an update, I chanced the 255/60/17 all around with Blizzak snow tires last year and what do you know no issues, so put them on again yesterday.
