I recently broke the remote for my car when the alarm on my car was on and now whenever i open the door to the car the alarm goes off. I can still drive but whenever i open one of the doors to get in or out the alarm goes off for three minutes. The manual said that using the key to unlock the car should disable the alarm but it hasn't. Does anyone have any idea on how to disable the alarm without me having to spend the money to buy a new remote? I've thought about disconnecting wires/fuses but i don't know how any of that works and i don't want to screw anything up.
