Default HVAC: not awesome

I have a 2006 Endeavor, and the HVAC system is terrible. Of the six cars I have owned thus far in my life (2 of them used and cheap) this has the worst HVAC of any of them. The vent (a/c turned off) always kicks out heat, even when turned all the way to blue/cool. With the heat on, the floor vents never put out much air; air seems to always come out the other vents as well. During winters in Minnesota, you miss that heat on your feet.

Just wanted to see if I'm the only one.

the HVAC is EXTREMELY powerful in the endeavor, for both heat and cooling.

sounds like you have an issue.

sounds like a control head issue or one of the blend door motors is stuck in one postion.

Default I have HVAC problem also.

Probably a different problem for me though. 08 endevour, fan blows very well but if set on footwell it seems to switch back and forth from footwell to windshield and back every couple of seconds. Probably a issue with whatever system switches the airflow.

theres an updated control unit to fix that.
a temporary workaround is to make sure the dash illumination is at "max". do NOT turn the brightness down at all.
that will solve it temporarily.
