Default ams mini race battery install

just installed my ams mini race battery kit . Went in nice and easy and couldn't believe the room it freed up. Its been in the car for a few hours now . I drove around a little and then came back home and checked everything to make sure nothing losed up , but i noticed when driving my idle was like at 1100rpms which is about 300 to 400 higher then it used to be. Now the kit relocated a ground location and I've read that if you don't make sure everything is grounded go it could affect how the car runs. let me know people. I'm think of just getting some wire and running it from the new ground location back to the old location just to make sure i got a good ground.
