Hello my fellow bretheren.

I seem to be having issuse with my boost. when I hit the top of 3rd and 4th gear (and i mean HITTIN the top like bookin at 90) then my boost bounces from safe to just over the warning level (not quite the peak before damage) but i just noticed this and was wondering if I need to have something specific checked.

any help would be great.

3rd gear and up run more boost than 1st and 2nd. My car will spike 20 in 1-2 but 3-4-5 if I just hit it in those gears it hits almost 22PAI sometmes

What #s are you seeing?

 

bout the same, although i haven't spiked past 21 psi.

 

I have no fuel upgrades just a tune leaned out a little bit more. I run 21 PSI tuned no trouble I hit 23 today but lowered it because I think I am maxing the fuel pump out and dont want to risk it

 

so you're sayin the boost spike is normal?

 

ya it will always spike around 1 or 1.5 psi more than what you hold to redline and in higher gears it will hold slightly more than the first two gears
