Default exhaust question

got another question... so i was lookin at getting the Greddy EVO exhaust for my future IX b/c it's quiet. My friend w/ the other evo (not the smartest person in the world about cars but it still struck my curiosity) said that he heard from somewhere/one that they took a greddy exhaust off, put an AMS exhaust on it and gained like 20whp... anybody know anything about this or if there's any truth to it?? the only thing i could think of if this is true at all is that they put the AMS catback on along with a downpipe and test pipe.... b/c i know that's close to 20whp gain.

i told my friend that if that was true it must have been a 500+whp and i was mistaken, he said he was talkin about Buschur racing exhaust not the AMS exhaust. i guess a simpler question is... is the greddy exhaust ok? is it a lower end exhaust?

I thinkthe buschur car he is talking about I think I know which on. it only made 324WHP and before 299WHP. but here is the catch the only changes before and after were before it was useing Megan exhaust and a 10.5 hotside VIII16G... after it switched to buschur exhaust and an IX turbo. the main difference that made the power was the turbo. the exhaust hardly made the change in that.

this was on a 2005 VIII MR (i think) warrtalon's car

Either way here is what I got for ya http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthr...+turbo+dyno+IX info on this car

also a comparison of Bushur TBE VS greddy TBE this might make you change your mind on getting greddy http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthr...+turbo+dyno+IX +23HP just by taking the Greddy off and putting buschur on
