Default Fluid Change

Okay, I have 10,320 mi on my Evo IX and it's time for the tranny, transfer case, and rear diff fluids to be changed. I believe I'm going with the BG Syncroshift II for the transmission but what do I need for the Transfer Case and Rear Diff. Are there any other places where fluids can be drained out of this car (besides oil)....LOL!!! There might be an earlier post out there with the information so call me lazy and we'll move forward.

I used Mitsu diaqueen LSD for the t case and rear diff , but you are ACD not sure if thats different. As for draining are you asking where do they get draind from? Just look on the Diffs. you see them they bolts are huge though I think a 22mm socket size or so cant remember. The LSD oil smells like total *** too so be ready for gear oil smell hahaha. The bolts to drain are on the bottom of the diff the refillers are a little higher up and youll need a hose to pump in the fluid

be sure you use only a GL-5 fluid in the rear diff and transfer case.
the trans is meant to use a GL-3 fluid.
