hey bud, I live in miami, and i'm a dial in driver at morrosso speedway. I'm there usually every friday and saturday, helping my buddy teach a driving class. I dont own an evo, but my employee does, and i've driven it down the track a couple times and know thier fantastic cars. If you want me to teach you a couple things, we usually leave my shop in North Miami at about 2pm and head over to morrosso. So come along if you want. If your going straight there, just ask for Gus at the main booth where all the times are read, and i'll come downstairs.
Anywho, i hope to see you there this friday, goodluck!

Gus

I'll be moving down to florida in a few months so I am interested in what tracks there are down there. Up here in North Carolina I just recently took my Evo to Rockingham Dragway. My husband ran 13.2 and I ran a 13.4 in the Evo, but we had to cut the day short. My clutch went COMPLETELY out and we couldn't race anymore, much less get home so we had to get it towed. I just got my ACT clutch so hopefully alls well that ends well.

well the most famouse track in florida is morroso speedway, located in west palm beach, But the best in my opinion is bradenton speedway, which is located near tampa. Both are good, but south florida tracks are too humid, and that's never good when your doing full passes in your car.

I was also curious to know your trap speeds when you ran the 13.2, and your short (60ft). and was the Evo modified in anyway?

I'm not sure, I lost the slip, but I think the trap speed was 104 mph and the 60ft was 1.8
